SUPERMODELS TEASER
Supermodels: a traveling exhibition about product design, architecture and interior design, consisting of 3D printed models to scale.
Supermodels is an initiative by Amsterdam based interior design studio concern and presents a compilation of more than 100 years of dutch design – shown as 3d printed scale models. The idea originated over the past years, while Concern participated in a number of international trade missions. During these visits to different countries it became apparent that Dutch embassies, consulates and cultural institutions are looking for ways to promote Dutch design and the creative industry. However, a good general exhibition on this topic did not exist, and in light of the Dutch economic policy which names the creative industry as one of the top sectors of the Dutch economy, such an exhibition would be a great asset. Supermodels premiers during the Salone del Mobile in Milan 2014.
